1. Introduction
Lishe by PlateAI ("Lishe", "PlateAI", "we", "us") is a digital nutrition planning platform that supports certified nutrition professionals through Lishe Manager and individuals through Lishe Planner.
By accessing or using this website, the Lishe Manager platform, or the Lishe Planner tools, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Platform Role - Not a Medical Provider
Lishe is a technology platform. Lishe does not provide direct medical diagnosis or treatment, and Lishe does not replace licensed medical care.
Individuals with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are advised to consult a certified professional before relying on any nutrition plan.
For Lishe Planner users: the platform provides general nutrition guidance based on user-provided data. It does not constitute individualized medical advice.
For Lishe Manager professionals: you remain fully responsible for clinical decisions made using the platform.
3. Eligibility
Professionals using Lishe Manager must be certified nutrition professionals, provide accurate verification information, and maintain valid professional credentials. Lishe may suspend access if verification is incomplete, expired, or misleading.
Individuals using Lishe Planner must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or other legally responsible adult.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree:
- To provide accurate health and profile information.
- Not to misuse the platform or interfere with service availability.
- Not to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the platform without written permission.
- Not to upload false credentials or misleading verification documents if you are using Lishe Manager.
Professionals additionally agree that they are solely responsible for clinical decisions, and that Lishe provides tools, not clinical judgments.
5. Data and Local Availability Disclaimer
Meal plans are generated using user-provided anthropometrics, stated preferences, declared conditions, and locally available food data focused on Tanzania.
Lishe does not guarantee exact food availability in every market, ward, or region, and Lishe does not guarantee identical ingredient supply across regions or time periods.
Users remain responsible for verifying ingredient suitability for allergies, intolerances, cultural fit, or medical conditions.
6. Payments and Access
If Lishe introduces paid subscriptions or premium access in the future, fees will be disclosed before billing, payments will be non-refundable unless required by law, and accounts may be suspended for non-payment.
7. WhatsApp and SMS Communication
By using Lishe, you consent to receiving reminders, progress nudges, alerts, and operational notifications through WhatsApp or SMS where those channels are available.
You may opt out of non-essential messaging where legally permitted, but operational messages may still be required to support delivery of the service.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including algorithms, distribution structures, templates, interface design, and branding, belongs to PlateAI unless otherwise stated.
Nutrition professionals may use generated outputs for client care, but may not resell, sublicense, mirror, or commercially distribute the platform itself.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlateAI shall not be liable for medical outcomes, food reactions, inaccurate user-provided data, professional misuse of the system, or decisions made without appropriate clinical review.
Lishe is provided "as is" and "as available".
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

12. Additional Terms for Nutrition Professionals
If you access Lishe Manager as a certified nutrition professional, the following terms also apply:
- You are responsible for verifying the suitability of generated plans before they are delivered to clients.
- Lishe provides distribution logic and platform tooling; you remain responsible for clinical approval.
- You must not represent Lishe as replacing medical evaluation, examination, or treatment.
- You retain independent confidentiality obligations owed to your clients, regardless of your use of Lishe.
